Anthropologie inspired palette of Farrow & Ball Paints
Two of my favorite things...Anthropologie and Farrow & Ball paint! A lushly colored "Finnia" rug from Anthropologie inspired a rich palette of Farrow & Ball Paints' yellows, greens and blues.

Nature loves color
Nature loves color which is why a space devoid of color looks rather unnatural. Most people would be frightened of using orange, red, green and purple and yellow in a decor scheme or outfit. The same person would probably love looking at a decadent and colorful garden. Have you ever seen a beige flower? Would you really notice one if it existed?

Whats so bad about beige?
A beige room from Ideal Home Magazine
Nothing! And that is the problem. Beige is unassuming and plain, simply neutral. Neutral things take no sides and in return evoke nothing....no love, no hate, no joy, no pain, only indifference. Give me color, any color, along with all its problems and the unnerving danger of being so wrong. Too bright, too dark, too anything but boring.

What is the antibeige project
There is too much beige in the world. Beige is safe, doesn't offend and is the color of boring. Time to stop being afraid of real color and get rid of the beige!
